Classes are lead by Bambu (Randall
Duval), who has been with Palmares since he began in 1999.  Bambu is under the guidance and responsibility of Mestre Gulliver.  It is at Mestre Gulliver's request that he has begun teaching in Denver, CO.

Randall Duval (Bambu) has a BA in
English and Education as well as a
Master's degree in Theology.  He takes the mental and physical growth of his students as his fundamental purpose.

Bambu also teaches children's classes at the Boettcher Boys and Girls club on Boston and Colfax

Bambu is responsible for creating capoeira schools in Nashville, TN and Manhattan, Kansas.
